When a baby owl is only 12 days old its body is partially covered in down and tiny quills its head is almost entirely bald and the face will develop later. The eyes are still cloudy and unfocussed the 12 day baby is fed 4 times a day the baby owl even though that is still young it can still swallow chunks of mouse or chicken complete with skin ,bone ,feather all of which are essential to her physical development
